On Thursday 16 January, former LANDac PhD George Schoneveld presented his dissertation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Around 50 participants joined the presentation and discussion about his research into ‘The Governance of Large-Scale Farmland Investments in Sub-Saharan Africa’. The work contains a comparative analysis of challenges for sustainability in four African countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria and Zambia. The presentation was attended by a varied audience of researchers, policy makers, NGOs and private sector representatives.
